A robust 25cm field knife built for demanding outback use. The 4mm thick, 1084 high‑carbon steel blade pairs a polished bevel with hand-forge marks along the spine. The 12–14cm arrow‑point profile promotes an effective working edge equally capable of slicing, piercing, and controlled carving.

The over-sized, Aged Australian Yellow Stringybark handle is shaped to the hand for a secure control under active conditions and enhances grip and blade awareness. The characteristic fiddleback and bird’s‑eye grain is set with brass pins and is sealed in a protective, water-resistant epoxy finish, giving the timber both durability and a deep, warm appearance.

It carries in a hand‑stitched, wet‑formed, welted and burnished leather sheath, fitted with quality hardware and an integrated strap or magnetic retainer.  An optional belt loop may be included for field carry.

Because of its thickness, balance, and spine geometry, this knife excels at light baton work and chopping, making it a dependable all‑rounder for campcraft, bush travel, and field tasks. Its weight and profile allow it to replace multiple tools, reducing what you need to carry while increasing what you can accomplish.

As the piece ages, it develops a patina that reflects your use - it becomes a functional heirloom.
